Our Story
The story behind HR Dynamics
Since 2008, HR Dynamics has supported organisations across Australia with HR and industrial relations advice built around real workplace needs.
What began as a responsive HR advisory service has grown into a team of 16 consultants supporting clients with everything from employment contracts, pay and awards and performance management through to investigations, mediation, leadership development and complex industrial relations matters.
Through all that growth, the focus has stayed the same: understand the organisation, provide clear advice and help people make confident decisions about what to do next.
Good HR isn’t about having a standard answer. It’s about understanding the people, the workplace and what needs to happen next.

HR Dynamics is led by Phoebe Kitto and Rebecca Wright, whose longstanding partnership has shaped the business around responsive support, strong client relationships and HR advice that connects compliance with the realities of running an organisation.

SCHADS back-pay review for a national not-for-profit
The challenge
A national not-for-profit identified potential SCHADS Award underpayments affecting more than 250 current and former employees across a six-year period. HR Dynamics was engaged to independently review compliance, calculate underpayments and support the remediation process.
What we did
Reviewed contracts, rosters, pay records and timesheets, interpreted complex Award provisions, completed individual back-pay calculations and supported the organisation with Fair Work engagement, employee communications and future compliance measures.
The outcome
The review and reporting were completed within the required timeframes, a clear remediation plan was developed and the organisation introduced forward compliance checks and stronger internal capability.

Building stronger communication across a dispersed government team
The challenge
HR Dynamics was engaged by a government department to strengthen team cohesion, leadership capability and communication across a team working in diverse communities and complex stakeholder environments.
What we did
Facilitated team workshops to clarify roles and collective purpose, delivered communication coaching and worked with senior staff to strengthen performance management, feedback and engagement skills.
The outcome
The team developed clearer communication channels, stronger consistency and accountability, and greater leadership confidence in managing culture and staff.

Where possible, yes. We aim to provide continuity so your consultant gets to know your organisation, people and workplace. Other team members may also assist when specialist expertise is needed.
